Boys!

This is my first year teaching accelerated math at my current school. While I really enjoy it (the kids actually do their homework and ask questions) it's also a very challenging class. It's a loud class, they like to talk, they have a million "what if" questions, etc. Well, one day recently, I was right in the middle of teaching a new concept. A boy raises his hand and I call on him thinking he had an answer or a question to what I was teaching. He says, "Mrs. Anderson, are pedicures for feet and manicures for hands?" Totally out of the blue. I said, "Yep, you're right." He said he was just wondering! I guess I know where his mind was during my teaching!
