Busy

Here's what we've been up to lately:
*We moved Siahna's bedroom upstairs and Case's downstairs.
*We repainted Siahna's new bedroom.  Case's new bedroom will soon follow.
*We put Siahna in a big girl bed but still have her crib set up in her room.  She does not like sleeping in the "baby bed" but hasn't quite connected the fact that when she gets out of bed repeatedly she gets put in the "baby bed."  But, overall, she has surprised me at how good she's been sleeping in the big girl bed and 8 times out of 10 she sleeps in there for night time and 5 times out of 10 for nap.
*We repainted our entire living room (same color).
*We moved our living room to the basement and rearranged our dining room area.
*I have been listening to an interview my grandma did of my great-grandma and have been converting the cassettes onto CD's to give to the family.
*Listening to those interviews made me want to interview my own grandparents so I'm in the process of compiling a list of questions and will interview them in a couple weeks when we go back to celebrate their 68th wedding anniversary.
*Case went to NE with aunt Dido for a 3 day weekend and got to hang with his cousins.
*Jeff joined the gym.
*Jeff got the new iPhone 5 and now I think I need to upgrade.
*Siahna has had some horse therapy and absolutely loves it.  Maybe we need to buy a pony?
*Jeff & I have finally gotten our will and trust put together, chosen guardians for our kids and will sign the papers next week.  Now, not to die!
*And, the kids and I have been busy doing crafts.  Mine isn't ready to post yet, but here's what the kids have been up to.

Case calls this squish art - squeeze some paint into a ziplock and let them have at it.  We also used a q-tip to practice our letters.

And, our project from today...canvas painting.  Hopefully you can tell from the pictures below what we did and how we did it.  Both kids loved this and now I have some of their art to hang on the wall.
