Birthday Gift

The cousins visited for 2 days and the boys had fun playing Wii. Of course, Kye and Case fought over who the 2nd player was, but it didn't matter because neither one was hooked up. They just didn't know it.

We got Case a sandbox for his birthday. He doesn't want to get in, but he's had fun digging and spreading sand all over the yard.

It was quiet the job getting sand...we had to go to a rock place, weigh the car before, scoop up the sand in containers we brought (in the hot, hot sun), weigh again and then pay. You have no idea how much you've gotten until you go in to pay. The sandbox can hold up to 200lbs. We got 400! What do you do with the extra? Can't take it back, so we just put it all in. The box is now busting at the seems.

Case got into the blowing and blew out his candles about 10 times.Cousin Kye is trying to figure out which piece he wants.Case had first dibs on the cake.Opening presents was fun, but the cousins had more fun even though the gifts weren't for them.Case wasn't too sure of his suitcase from Grandma Jan, but it'll come in handy when we go to Acapulco!
No party is complete without kid fireworks.Case has been enjoying his swimpool from Grandma Sally & Grandpa Doug.

10 Updates

1) I found the "stolen" GPS a week ago in our kitchen.
2) Jeff does read my blog - much to my dismay.
3) The skunk has not returned (that we know of).
4) Case is turning 2 in a little over a week. Time sure does fly.
5) Our milk has not been stolen since that one time.
6) Case got a big boy bed and has rolled out once during the night (it took over 2 hours for him to go back to sleep) and this morning I found him hanging half way off crying because he couldn't pull himself back onto the bed.
7) I don't think I'll ever feel like I'm on summer break again since Case is up between 6-7am.
8) All of Case's grandparents are coming out to celebrate him birthday.
9) My dear friend Mindy is coming to visit this weekend with her new husband, Ken.
10) I actually want to go camping with my family over the 4th of July. Who would have ever thought I'd want to go?
