Vegas, Baby!

In honor of Jeff's birthday, we went to Vegas with some great friends. Shiloh, Holly, Nathan & Vali joined us for the weekend. It was a great time of hanging out by the pool, sleeping in, walking the strip, mimicking people and taking pics, eating at In-N-Out Burger and just being with good friends.

This past weekend, Jeff's dad came to town and he and Jeff went to the beer festival. That left me with the kids and a whole day to ourselves. So, I decided I'd take Case (and Siahna) downtown to the Firefighter's Museum. We first took the lightrail downtown with Jeff and grandpa Ken. Case sees the lightrail all the time so I thought that would be a fun way to go since the museum is only a couple blocks from the station.

Siahna's Room

As soon as aunt Dido moved out, we took over her room and made it Siahna's. We decided not to repaint but to match her bedding to the walls. The walls are still bare but at least her room is put together. And, I for one, am glad she's in the basement.
