4 Years & Counting

Its been about 15 years since I met Jeff. I can't believe it. I still remember meeting him. He did special music that day at church and I think that was the first time I had heard him sing. That's probably even when I fell in love! I got two of my girlfriends, Carina & Angie, to go with me and we went over and introduced ourselves to him after church. I don't remember much else except thinking that I couldn't wait to start college to spend more time with this guy. I also knew, after time, that this was the guy I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. Now, I know that may sound cheesy as most girls who are in love think that they want to marry that guy, but somehow I just knew - as my old journals reflect.

15 years leads to a lot of mutual friends and a lot of memories together. It's great that we can remember things together or tell stories and know the people in our stories. Four years is just a short time out of the 15, but I am thankful everyday for our story and how the Lord brought us together. Through the good and the bad, there is absolutely nobody else that I would want by my side.
