Our Latest Project

In the midst of an already busy day (sorry aunt Katie for being late to your birthday party), I decided it was the perfect time to pull out paints and do a Thanksgiving project with the kids.
Case made 5 handprints. Can you tell what it'll be when it's finished?Step 1 - paint the hands. I'm pretty proud of how Siahna's hands turned out. I usually can't get her to keep her hands open long enough to press down to make a handprint.
Gobble, gobble, gobble!
We have rediscovered our rocking horse from the toy room. Siahna loves to climb so this just gives her something new to climb up on. Last night she discovered she could pull out the drawer under the oven and stand on that and climb up so she can see what I'm cooking. Dangerous? Very!

The last project we've started is re-landscaping our yard!!! Yay! I'm so excited. I know it's November, but the weather has been pretty nice and we've lived with a terrible yard for four years and have been saving, saving, saving. We're doing a sprinkler system, rocks, a playground area, and tearing up the grass (weeds) that we have and seeding so we'll have a nice yard come next spring/summer. Hopefully next week I'll have some before and after pictures to share.
