Yard Work

For the last four years, we have probably had the worst yard on the block. Well, maybe not that bad, but it was down there. We decided many months ago to start a yard fund and save, save, save. We waited so long into fall that we got a discount just so the landscapers could have work for their guys.

Day 3. Playground has been moved.
Yard has been dug up.
Preparing for rock, seed and mulch.

Back yard - rock and seed put in. Kind of disappointed with the rock as it's not very colorful. And not very happy that they dug out all of my lily of the valley's that I've worked so hard to multiply in this area.
Front yard after. Not much to see. But, we're excited for next spring when the grass starts to grow and we plant new flowers.

So, I know that's not a very exciting post and the pictures aren't the best since it's fall and there's not much to look at, but we're pretty excited to have a makeover on our yard.
