This past summer I took the kids to a gymnastics class that I thought I had registered them for, but really hadn't. Sounds like my experience with booking a hotel, too. Needless to say, we stayed for the class but didn't actually register because Siahna didn't really "fit in." I thought I would give it another try so we went to our first class today and it was a blast!!! Siahna had so much fun and it's a class that both kids can be in. It's amazing what a few months can do and how the participation level will change. She was clapping when we sang songs, she was doing stretches with us and loved that she could climb on anything and not get into trouble.
She loved this big foam pit. She kept heading for the slide that slides you into the pit.
One last thing, in the last 4 days Siahna has started shaking her head yes/no in response to questions. It is so amazing to be able to communicate with her now and get an actual answer. I'm amazed at how much she understands when a week ago we thought she had no idea what we were saying. Yay!
