Married Life

So, Jeff & I celebrated our 3rd anniversary this weekend by going into the mountains and taking a 4 hour horseback ride. It was great - although my bum still hurts! It was just us and our guide. We rode for about 1 1/2 hours up into the mountains and then stopped for a picnic lunch. The scenery was great, our guide was very informational and it only sprinkled on us while thundering for 30 minutes. Another 1 1/2 hours down the mountains and we were back safe & sound. It was a great way for us to be together and enjoy the beauty of the mountains.

Tomorrow is our actual anniversary and I have to say that most of the time I truly enjoy married life. I am married to a very sweet man who puts my needs above his own. He is patient, he puts up with my bossy ways, he listens and he has become better and better at helping me out around the house so that I don't lose my mind. He has started doing the laundry - towels & sheets because these are the only things that he can't shrink by putting in the dryer. I am slowly getting him trained!

But, I love my husband. I couldn't imagine life without him snoring in my ear at night and leaving his piles of clothes all over the floor. I can't imagine not going to bed without his kisses. He's a keeper that one.
